The food sector foresees significant growth in the coming years but it is not valued or supported by the institutions»

    • Current mentality. «We have to change the mentality towards business. The entrepreneur is not an evil, rich devil who wants to exploit workers. Right now 85% of companies in Spain are self-employed and SMEs»

    • Incompetent administration. «Endless administrative hurdles are put in place, deadlines take forever, they do not realise that delays in the granting of building or business licences are enormous obstacles»
  • Opportunities

    • Food and tourism. «The products we have here… I have the feeling that we are not paying enough attention to that»

    • Location. «From the valley you can move to any place in Asturias in a very short time, which gives us an advantageous position»
